Broadway Celtic earned a place in the quarter finals of the Reg Ellis cup in a Topsy turvey game at West Hendon Playing Fields on Sunday. Broadway took to the field for the first time since 29th November and their rustiness was clearly visible as they went 2 goals down inside the 1st 15 minutes.



Broadway did finally start to find some rhythm and they fought back to go into half time leading 4-2 courtesy of goals from Ovidu Roman (2) , David Carroll and Ray Fitzpatrick.




Fitzpatrick seemed to have sealed Broadways passage into the next round when he put the Cricklewood side 5-2 ahead early in the 2nd half but 2 goals on the 73 and 75 minute respectively made for a nervy final 15 minutes but Broadway held on to put ensure their name went in the hat for the quarter final draw.
