BCFC II 3 All Saints Celtic 1

Ray Fitzpatrick scored a brace in each of these hour long games to give BCFC II a well deserved 6 points from the days play and in turn crank the pressure up on Sals Bar and Willesden Legionnaire who are also challanging for the division 2 title.

Fitzpatrick scored 2 and his strike partner Mark Hayes got 1 as BCFC II went into a 3-0 lead in the first game before All Saints replied with a late consolation goal courtesy of an excellant 25 yard low drive from ASC player of the day Leigh Harrington that left the excellant Peter Keegan in the BCFC goal with no chance.

So with 3 points in the bag BCFC began the 2nd game looking sharp and it took only 5 minutes before Fitzpatrick scored the goal of the day as turned with his back to goal to volley into the top corner from nearly 30 yards.

BCFC went to sleep for 5 minutes and were duly punished when ASC drew level when ASC capitalised as BCFC II whole team went in search of goals only to leave nobody bar Chris O'Leary in defence allowing ASC an easy chance as they scored on the break.

Some harsh words from Peter Keegan in the BCFC II goal got the team their focus back as David Carroll restored BCFC II's lead within 5 minutes which was extended to 2 goals by who else but Ray Fitpartick shortly after.

3-1 it was at half time and BCFC only had to endure one scare in the last 30 minutes as Leigh Harrington stuck the underside of the bar for ASC with an excellent 20 yard volley but 3-1 it was to be the final score as BCFC II took a giant step towards the title and Ray fitzpatrick added another 4 goals to his tally for the season as he seeks to become the divisional top scorer for the 2nd season in a row.

And Finally
