Broadway Celtic exited the Middlesex Sunday Premier Cup in the 1st round though the 5-1 scoreline some what flattered their hosts.

Headstone took the lead just before half time when a defensive mistake allowed a Headstone forward through on goal to put the Harrow side 1-0 .



Headstone looked to have put the game out of sight as they extended their lead to 3-0 with 30 minutes remaining , though Broadway were given some hope when Dave Gordon scored his 2nd goal of the season with 15 minutes .


As Broadway pushed players forward in search of a second goal they were twice caught out at the back in the closing minutes and the final 5-1 scoreline will be one they will want to forget as they try to build on their opening day league win over Kings United when they face Conways this Sunday.
