Broadway Celtic were all that stood between NLO and the premier league title when the 2 teams kicked off at Kingsbury Town on Sunday Morning . 6 points were up for grabs in the 2 one hour match's that were scheduled in order to clear up the fixture backlog caused by winter big freeze.

In the 1st match NLO took a deserved 20th minute lead and looked on course for a comfortable 3 points but Broadway dispite only having pride to play for never gave up and they were rewarded for their efforts when Chris O'Leary tricked his way past 2 NLO defenders before calmly slotting the ball home to leave NLO's title hopes up in the air with only 13 minutes to go.

At this stage the tie could have gone either way but it was NLO who prevailed in the dying seconds when they snatched a late winner after Broadway failed to clear their lines .

Broadway were determined to avoid seeing NLO win the title on their watch and they dug deep into their reserves to hold NLO at bay in the 1st half of the mornings 2nd game.

The sun was sapping both sets of players energy and Broadway made good use of their 3 subs and went into the last period of 30 minutes looking a revived side. With 20 minutes to go Jason Mullarkey was hauled down on the edge of the NLO penalty area , NLO were probably slightly relieved to see their man escape with just a yellow card but they took their eye of the ball as Mark Kelly sent a 20 yard free kick into the top corner while the NLO keeper was still setting up his wall.

Then with 10 minutes to go Mark Kelly burst into the NLO area before smashing home his 2nd of the day to seal the points and ensure that Conways of Burnt Oak remained in the title race whilst Broadway will now go into next weeks Reg Ellis Cup Semi Final v Kings United in buoyant mood.
