Broadway Celtic went down 6 - 2 to Highgate Albion at West Hendon Playing Fields on Sunday .
Highgate took the lead after 20 minutes with a stunning 30 yard strike but Paul Kelly soon levelled things up for Broadway when he tapped home a Chris O'Leary cross after half an hour.
PICTURED ABOVE (CHRIS O'LEARY IS FOILED BY THE HIGHGATE KEEPER) Broadway's good fortune did not last too long and they soon found themselves 3-1 down with a goal either side of half time though they appeared to have pulled themselves back into the game when Ray Fitzpatrick Cooley slotted home with 20 minutes remaining.
PICTURED ABOVE PAUL KELLY COMPETES FOR THE BALL Just when Broadway looked to be getting on top they conceded a killer fourth goal and 2 late goals in the closing stages put a gloss on the win for Highgate though Broadway will be content to just put forget about this defeat as they look to bounce back from this defeat with a win in next weeks Challange Cup Quarter Final v's Kings United. |
