Broadway Celtic advanced to the Semi - Final's off the Middlesex Cup thanks to a late Darren Butler header in extra time. Broadway enjoyed the better of the chances in normal time but they could not find the all important finish despite being presented with several guilt edged opportunities.

The dead-lock appeared to be broken in the 1st period of extra time when David Carroll rose highest from a broadway corner to direct his header into the top corner but Broadway's celebration were cut short as the referee adjudged Carroll had fouled a Barnes defender in scoring his 'goal'.




Broadway's Darren Butler though was to make no mistake when he connected with a Craig Tompkins cross after 110 minutes and though Barnes Albion threw everything at Broadway in the closing stages it was Broadway who were to prevail , they now go on to meet Oak Park Rangers in the semi final on February 28th February.
