Nicky Wickham (above) put in a solid performance on Sunday in defence

Broadway Celtic earned themselves a semi final place in the Richard Matton Cup with a 3-1 win over Metropolis.

Metropolis took the lead after a fine passing move split the bcfc defence allowing an unmarked forward to slot home past Lee Caffery in the BCFC goal.

BCFC though came storming back with goals from Kevin Mcloughlin ,Sean Mcnulty and Kevin King and with Nicky Wickham and Paul Mcloughlin looking solid at the back the result was never in doubt.

BCFC II were awarded the points from there league game v NLO II after they failed to field a team, the 3 points lift BCFC II to the top of the table for the first time this season.
